Illinois State Police District 12 Commander, Captain Cory Ristvedt, announced the results of Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols held in Lawrence and Richland Counties during August. There were 48 total citations and 13 total warnings. There were 31 safety belt citations and 1 child restraint citation.These patrols provided extra patrol coverage for the State Police so officers could focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants were buckled up.
