Gerald Anson Green, 81 of Lawrenceville passed away Saturday, September 16 , 2017 at the United Methodist Village North Campus, Lawrenceville.
He was born on August 17, 1936 in Lawrence County, IL. Gerald was the son of Harry Anson and Rosie Bell ( Nelson) Green.
He worked as a machinist and was a janitor for Lawrence County School District.
Gerald is survived by 1 son Wayne Green and his wife Amber of Palestine, IL.
3 sisters, Rosie Audene Roberts of Lawrenceville, Mary Elizabeth Morris of Phoenix AZ., Barbara Elaine Loudermilk and husband Jerry of Lawrenceville, 2 grandchildren, Aiden Matthew Green, Audri Zhanna Green
He is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers. Donald Green, and Johnathan Green, 1 sister Darlen Stevenson.
Gerald wishes was to be cremated.
There will be a memorial service for Gerald, Monday October 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. The service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Pinkstaff, IL.
