A Lawrenceville, Illinois man who worked as an officer for the state prison in Carlisle, Indiana has been arrested.
25-year-old Aaron McQuaid was arrested at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility on Wednesday. He’s’ charged with trafficking with an inmate and official misconduct.
The crimes reportedly involved tobacco and suboxone. Suboxone is typically used in the treatment of opioid addiction, but it can be abused to get high.
McQuaid was lodged in the Sullivan County Jail.
