Steven Brian Cox, age 62 of Petrolia, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born August 28, 1955 in Vincennes, IN to Paul Cox and his wife Shirley (Cordeau).
Steve had worked for years as a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving family includes: his two children- Jessica New and her husband Jason of rural Bridgeport and Justin Cox and his fiancé Whitney of Solsberry, IN: six grandchildren- Deegan and Gracie New and Cyanna, Keegan, Briant, and Kaylee Cox: one brother- Joe Cox and wife Michelle of Bridgeport: one half-sister- Melva Killion and husband Jim of Anderson, IN: and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers (Terry, David, and Paul Cox).
