Out of state driver dead in Marion County, IL crash…

 A Louisiana man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Marion County, Illinois yesterday morning. 80 year-old Albert Rhodes of Arcadia, Louisiana was driving south on I-57 when his vehicle spun sideways and crossed the median into the northbound lane. The vehicle collided with a Frieghtliner truck tractor trailer driven by 49 year-old Tammy Shaw of Winder, Georgia.  Rhodes was injured and flown to Barnes jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where he later died. A passenger in Rhodes’ vehicle, 62 year-old Virginia Crosby of Arcadia, Louisiana, was also injured and taken to Salem Hospital.
