Two people were slightly injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County yesterday evening. Dustin Adams was driving south on Illinois Route 1 just north of County Road 1498 when he blacked out behind the wheel. Adams’ vehicle went off the east side of the road and into a ditch. Both Adams and a female passenger suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
A Sumner man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Saturday afternoon. Forrest Harvey was driving south on Illinois Route 1 north of Lawrenceville near Kelly Lake Road when he came upon another vehicle preparing to turn. Harvey hit the brakes but lost control of his vehicle due to mechanical issues. Harvey’s vehicle then rolled over. Harvey was injured but refused medical treatment.
