Man jailed for possession; Driver escapes injury in single car accident…
— Lawrence County authorities arrested an Evansville man on a firearm ammunition possession charge yesterday. Sheriff’s deputies took 31 year-old Ernest Sweet into custody. Sweet was taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
–A single-vehicle accident occurred in Lawrence County Tuesday. John Koonce of Lawrenceville was driving east on U.S. 50 north of Lawrenceville when the front driver’s side tire came loose and then fell off. Koonce was not hurt.
