–The Lawrence County Board met yesterday afternoon. The board was informed that Adam Feig had resigned from his position as Lawrence County Extension Advisor. An interim director is currently in place. The County Board also approved the appointment of Brad Purcell to the Housing Authority Board. Purcell will replace Bob Van Fossen, who resigned.
— The Lawrencevlle Unit 20 School Board met last night. The School Board approved fees for the 2017-2018 school year. Some fees will be increased for the upcoming school year. The board also received a report on Senate Bill 100, which deals with student suspensions and expulsions.
