The Lawrence Public Library Board of Trustees met last night. The Library Board unanimously approved an ordinance authorizing the issuance of $160,000 in debt certificates to be paid back over the next five years to finance facilities improvements including the windows and walls renovation project. The board also unanimously approved a recommendation from the Personnel Committee for 3% raises across the board for both full-time and part-time employees.
