Local man pleas to meth possession

Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael M. Strange announced that 42 year-old Sean Webster of Lawrenceville pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. In exchange for his plea, Webster was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, followed by one year of mandatory supervised release.  Webster is also required to pay a $500 drug assessment as well as court costs.
