Carol J. Seitzinger, age 72 of Lawrenceville, passed away in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was born July 30, 1944 in Vincennes, IN to Eugene and Maxine (Fornshell) Seitzinger.
Carol was a member of the Union Chapel Church, worked for GTE as a switchboard operator years ago, worked at Wal-Mart, and cleaned homes. However, what she truly loved and enjoyed was babysitting.
Surviving relatives include: her sister- Rita Schultz of Lawrenceville: two brothers- Larry Seitzinger and Harold Seitzinger and his wife Nancy all of Lawrenceville: one sister-in-law- Rose Seitzinger of Lawrenceville: two step-sons- Joey Robinson of Sumner and Buddy Robinson of Lawrenceville: and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Eugene and Maxine Seitzinger: three brothers- Charles, Bill, and Jim Seitzinger: and one niece- Penny Howder.
A funeral service for Carol J. Seitzinger will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
