A 16 year old girl died in a Crawford County, Illinois crash Wednesday. Illinois State Police report the girl, from Robinson had five passengers, ages 13 to 17 also all from Robinson. She was on County Road 500-North five miles east of 725-East at a high rate of speed when her car went into a ditch. The vehicle flipped over and then struck a tree. While the driver was killed, the others were taken to Crawford Memorial Hospital. They were all treated for injuries which were not life threatening. No names have been released.
