Two plead guilty and one is re-sentenced is separate meth cases

Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael M. Strange announced that 19 year-old Joshua Dill of Mt. Carmel plead guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Dill was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Dill is also required to pay a $500 drug assessment fee as well as court costs.

In another case…. 25 year-old Kurtis Harvey of Lawrenceville plead guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Harvey was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Harvey is also required to pay a $500 drug assessment fee as well as court costs.

Strange has also announced that 33 year-old Travis Shoulders of Lawrenceville was re-sentenced on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors. Shoulders had previously been placed on two years of probation. Shoulders admitted to violating the terms of probation by providing a drug screen that tested positive for Methadone. Shoulders was re-sentenced on the original charge to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. followed by two years of mandatory supervised release. Shoulders is also required to pay all previously imposed fines and costs..
