The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the closure of a ramp from U.S. 41 to U.S. 50 as a part of a bridge rehabilitation project.
Beginning Monday, E & B Paving crews will close the ramp from U.S. 41 southbound to U.S. 50 eastbound toward Lawrenceville. During the closure, the contractor will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on bridges just west of the Old SR 67 overpass on U.S. 50. The bridges will receive a complete deck rehabilitation. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in either direction during the construction. No traffic will be allowed on the ramp from U.S. 41 southbound to U.S. 50 westbound. The official detour uses the existing cloverleaf interchange in that location.
