Myron E. Hunt, age 69 of St. Francisville, passed away in Evansville, IN at Select Specialty Hospital on Friday, March 31, 2017.
He was born October27, 1947 in Vincennes, IN to Marion C. and Marie M. (Hensley) Hunt.
He married Chyerl R. Stone, and she preceded him in death in August of 2011.
Myron was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He had served in Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion #947 and retired from Snap-On.
Surviving family includes: one daughter- Jennifer Harms of St. Francisville: one son- Jason Hunt of Lawrenceville: his significant other- Darlene Hershey of Allendale: two grandchildren: Ariel Lofton and her husband Cory of Allendale and Sean Hunt also of Allendale: two great-grandchildren-Zoey and Madison Lofton: four sisters- Myrna Lewis, Maggie Hunt, Sue Miller, and Marsha Kay Bunnage and her husband Tony all of St. Francisville: three sisters-in-law- Sue Hunt of Lawrenceville, Karen Williams and her husband Stan of Mt. Carmel, and Sandy Byrns of Dyer, IN.
He was preceded in death by: his parents- Marion and Marie Hunt: his wife- Chyerl Hunt: one brother- Marvin Hunt: and a sister in infancy.
As per Myron’s wishes, his body is being cremated. There will be a graveside service on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in St. Francisville. Military rites will be given at the cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Homes is assisting with the arrangements.
