Greene County authorities are investigating reports of counterfeit money being passed at local businesses throughout their community.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reports there’ve been four known incidents in Greene County and the surrounding area since December 1st. The fake money has been in the form of $20, $50 and $100 bills.
Bloomington Police are also involved in the investigation
