An investigation into the calls between a father and his jailed son lead to a large drug bust in Vincennes.

Princeton Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department went to the Vincennes home of 66-year-old Joseph Marley to investigate calls between Marley and his son, Lance, who is currently in the Gibson County Jail, accused of stabbing Lindsey Fleck to death earlier this year. Police believed that Marley was planning to help his son escape from jail.

When they arrived at the home, police found letters confirming a potential escape attempt, as well as over $100,000 in marijuana.

Marley was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail, where he has been charge with possession of marijuana and dealing in marijuana.
