The Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes is trying to raise a quarter million dollars by the end of the year and they are getting closer.
The Vincennes Sun Commercial suncommercial.com says Toyota has recently donated 40 thousand and the Old National Bank gave 2500. That combined with the 100 grant the museum received from an Illinois based group that supports the museum, they are now looking to raise the remaining $107,500.
The money will be used for expansion of the popular attraction in southern Indiana. If they raise the money they’ll qualify for a a $250,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Tourism and Development. The need to have the remaining local match by Friday but it can be in the form of a pledge or promise for the money and not the actual cash
