Employees at Good Samaritan Hospital will receive a 4-percent pay raise as part of the 2017 budget approved by the Hospital’s Board of Governors Tuesday.

Hospital President and CEO Rob McLin says the budget reflects Good Samaritan’s commitment to offering higher quality health care combined with cost-effective and state-of-the-art care.

In order to remain price and cost competitive, the Hospital Board also approved a rate increase of 3-point-34 percent for services

Thomas Cook, Chief Financial Officer for the Hospital indicated the budget is based on positive outpatient growth that theyve seen through this past year. He says they have welcomed three new physicians this year and look forward to even more additions to the medical staff throughout 2017 with the anticipation of growing their patient base.
