Some burn bans remain in effect for some surrounding counties.
According to today’s Department of Homeland Security information, there are burn bans still in effect for Pike, Dubois and Gibson Counties.
The bans prohibit open burning of any kind using conventional fuels….burning of debris, such as timber and vegetation,, and no campfires or other recreational fires are allowed.
