Preparations are underway for the 18th annual Christmas Parade of lights through downtown Vincennes. Knox County Chamber President Marc McNeece appeared before the Vincennes Board of Works Monday requesting to use the traditional parade route for the event which is scheduled to kick-off on Friday, December 2nd at 6:30 p.m.. McNeece told board members they are now accepting entries for the parade. Applications are available in the Chamber Office at 316 Main Street. The annual Downtown Christmas Stroll will be taking place both Friday and Saturday with businesses staying open longer. McNeece says there will be carriage rides available as well.
