Not guilty plea entered in DJ murder case

Don Featherstone, one of four suspects arrested in connection with the death of Terre Haute D-J Matt Luecking, entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday afternoon.

In late October, police found Matt Luecking dead inside of his apartment. According to the coroner’s office, the cause of Luecking’s death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Officials arrested John Collins for murder in Parke County where he was located with Luecking’s stolen vehicle. Police then arrested 28-year-old Benjamin Selig of Rockville, on a preliminary charge of assisting a criminal as well as 25-year-old Kathleen Featherstone of Terre Haute, for felony murder, robbery and burglary.

Don Featherstone was listed as the fourth suspect. He was located in the area outside of Chicago where he was hospitalized with self-inflicted wounds.

Featherstone was not booked into the Vigo County Jail until November. 7th. His trial is scheduled for April 24..
