The public is invited to a screening for a short film, “Thanks, Paul,” on November 5 at 7 p.m. (CT) at Lawrenceville High School.

According to the filmmaker and cinematographer, Zachery Green, the 15-minute film is a suspenseful drama that was produced last fall while he attended Southern Illinois University. The plot involves a depressed family man named Paul who seeks counsel with an acquaintance as they drive to an undisclosed location to resolve Paul’s problem. Although Green says anyone would enjoy the film, its target audience is primarily college students, particularly those in mass communication, art, theater, film/television and radio. The content is for mature audiences and not suitable for children.

Green is a sports writer for the Lawrenceville Daily Record.

Admission is free and there are free refreshments.
