Richard “Dick” G. Wilson

Richard “Dick” G. Wilson, 65, of Monroe City, IN, passed away Oct. 31, 2016 at his home.

Dick was retired from Texas Gas. He was a Vietnam War veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Born August 21, 1951, in Vincennes, he was the son of George “G.R.” and Marie (Smith) Wilson. His parents; four grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and Roger Wilson; and a sister, Deanna Wilson preceded him.

Surviving is his wife, Ginger (Martin) Wilson; his daughter, Katie Watts and her husband, Rodney of Petersburg, IN; brothers and a sister, Robert Wilson at Lake Lawrence, Lawrenceville, IL, Rex Wilson of Vincennes, Kathy Pifer of Vincennes, and Russell Wilson at Lake Lawrence, Lawrenceville, IL; and grandchildren, Trinity Grace “Gracie May” Watts and Mackenzie Jo Watts.

Friends may visit with Dick’s family from 5:00 – 8:00 on Thursday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Friday, at 10:00. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Graveside military rites will be provided by the Petersburg VFW.
