An I-U student in Bloomington was arrested after police say he used a shovel to beat a skunk – to death. 18-year-old Andrew Baldini of Carmel is accused of chasing down the stinky critter and killing it in front of the T-I-S bookstore on East 3rd Street. Witnesses called police – who placed Baldini into custody. He’s now facing a felony charge — of animal torture.
