One arrested for escape Monday night.
-A work release inmate apparently got away from authorities last night. Sources say 21-year-old Tyler Opel allegedly left the hospital after receiving medical clearance. He was tracked down at 9pm at 6th and Nicholas. Opel is charged with a level 5 felony count of escape and a misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.
-At 2 am today, Vincennes police investigated a report of an intoxicated person at 1st and Reel. 20-year-old Kevin D. Council of LaPorte, Indiana was jailed for minor consuming.
-Vincennes police arrested a community corrections inmate on a warrant at 11:10 last night. 35-year-old Jordan R. Shields of Vincennes was wanted on the warrant out of Knox Superior Court 1.
