It’s VU Alumni and Family Weekend

Barbecue, bull riding, and bobbing down the Wabash River are all part of Vincennes University’s Fall Family and Fun Weekend.

The kicks off this evening with a Boot Scootin’ Barbeque Celebration at the Intramural Field where students, families and alumni will enjoy bull riding, bingo, food and a Sheriff’s Aftermath Dance.

Tomorrow, VU PresidenVt Chuck Johnson says a variety of events will be taking place in downtown Vincennes that the public is invited to attend along with VU students and their families..

At 12:30 pm is the “Live Dangerously Chili Tasting event. There will be Live music will be provided by Anna Sage, and at 1:30 pm the winners of the tube race will be announced.

The Night the Stars Come Out, featuring music by VU Alumni, will take place at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center will get underway at 7:30. Tickets are available by calling the Skelton Center Box Office or by going online.
