Individuals without medical insurance or high co-pays now have another option for health care thanks to the collaboration between Good Samaritan and Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Vincennes.
The clinic is open two Wednesdays and two Saturdays a month. Volunteers and Vincennes University nursing students provide the nursing staff at the clinic, under the supervision of Deb White, a Nurse Practitioner.
White says the clinic is open to anyone in the community who has a need for medical care. She says patients seen at the free wellness clinic may receive a referral to the Good Samaritan Primary Care Clinic or a specialist’s office. No appointment is necessary to visit the church clinic.
