Beverly York Wirth, age 68 of rural Lawrenceville, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born in Haubstadt, IN on October 13, 1947 to William and Wanda (Askren) Holloway.
Beverly married Ben Wirth in July 1999, and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Richard Hardacre, and her second husband Darrell York.
Many remember Beverly from her years as a school bus driver for Red Hill Unit 10 School District. She retired from driving a school bus after 27 years. She was also a homemaker to her family.
Surviving family includes: her husband- Ben Wirth of rural Lawrenceville: two daughters- Jodi Ayres and her husband Kevin of Bridgeport and Nicole Wissing and her husband Joe of San Antonio, TX: one son- Alan York and his wife Tiffany of Princeton, IN: five grandchildren- Dalton and Haley York, Kyle York, Quentin Ayres, and Denise McDonald: five great-grandchildren- Keith York, Karleigh Hill, Kendrix York, Blakely Ayres, and Amelia McDonald: one sister- Sherry Morgan of Vincennes, IN: two brothers- Denny Holloway of Lawrenceville and Bion Jones of Atlanta, GA: five step-daughters- Tam Hager and husband David of Bridgeport, Pam Aldridge and husband Kevin of Lawrenceville, Kimberly Crouch of Melrose Park, Patricia Sue Ash and husband Guy of Lawrenceville, and Elizabeth Buonauro of Mexico: and six step-grandchildren- Brad Hager, Brandy Smith, Guy Ash II, Nichole Ash, Ryan Tewell, and Ashley Tewell.
A funeral service for Beverly York Wirth will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the Bridgeport City Cemetery.
