At 4:30 this morning, Vincennes police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Short and Reel.
Upon investigation it was discovered that the driver, 35-year-old Jordan R. Shields of Vincennes was wanted for failure to appear in court for operating while being a habitual traffic violator. Shields was arrested on another count of that that offense and for possession of a syringe, a schedule 3 controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
