The Knox County Holding Corporation is expected turn over the deed to the Knox County Jail to county officials this afternoon.
The Holding Corporation was the legal owner of the real estate and was the issuer of the bonds which financed the jail’s construction. The bonds have now been fully retired.
Members of the County Council and County Commissioners are expected to attend the meeting this afternoon at 4 pm in the offices of attorney Bruce Smith.
