Helping His Disaster Response Team is headed back to Knox County after dropping off supplies to flood victims in Louisiana.
Director Scott Shipman says one of their stops included a Public Broadcasting Station which had sent out a national plea for assistance and school supplies for children.
Shipman says workers their were amazed when they pulled up to the T-V Station and dropped off half a semi worth of material.
Shipman says they also delivered personal hygiene, medical supplies, food and blankets during their trip to Louisiana. He says they essentially depleted their entire stock and are asking folks in Knox and surrounding counties for assistance in replenishing their supplies. He says they are in need of more school supplies, toiletry items and clothing. Monetary donations are also welcome.
Shipman says donations can be dropped off at their Headquarters 1107 Main Street in Vincennes. Or they can make a monetary donation by going to their website or you can donate by texting hhh to the number 4-1-4-4-4.on your phone app.
