Pepsi Cola will be closing out operations at it’s Vincennes Plant at the end of next month.

The company announced earlier this spring that it would be moving its operations to a new facility in Elberfeld.

The owners of the plant are working with the Knox County Development Corporation to market the building which contains 46,000 square feet of space.

KCDC Executive Director Kent Utt says the building will be available for occupancy after October 1st.   He told KCDC Board Members this morning that there has been some high level interest shown by a couple of prospects.

The building is owned by Mike Cassaday and Venture Investment Company.

Utt says the company is looking to sell the plant for $1.7 million…or he says they are willing to lease the warehouse.
