Phyllis A. (Petts) Ralston, 82, of Washington, IN, passed away June 5, 2016, at her home.

Phyllis was a professional quilter and a 1952 graduate of Fritchton High School.

She was born March 8, 1934, in Fritchton, IN, the daughter of Jonathon Homer and Gertrude (Mitchell) Petts. Her parents; a son, Robert Michael Adams; and two brothers, Robert Joseph and James Harold Petts preceded her.

Surviving are her sons, Howard Steven Adams and his partner, Rick Showalter, of Washington, IN, Timothy Allen Adams of Conyers, GA, and Roger David Ralston and his wife, Cheryl, of Vincennes, IN; a sister, Jean Bailey and her husband, Don, of Palestine, IL; a brother, David Petts and his wife, Vicki, of Danville, IN; grandchildren, Mina Adams, Alexi Adams, Peter Adams, Nikolia Adams, and Brock Adams and his wife, Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Aidan and Emma Adams. 

A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2016, from 11:00 – 5:00, at the enclosed shelter house in Gregg Park, Vincennes, IN.
