Jesse Driskill, 33, passed away on June 28, 2016 at his residence. Jesse was born on June 3, 1983 in Vincennes the son of Doug, Sr. and Karen (Sweppy) Driskill. Jesse married Cora Ivers on July 24, 2004.
Jesse was a coal miner for nine years and most recently worked for FIA as a Welding Associate. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church, and enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers with his brothers, spending time with his girls and family, and volunteering at Helping His Hands.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Driskill of Vincennes; daughters, Abigail Lynn Driskill, Kennadie Ann Driskill; parents, Doug, Sr. and Karen Driskill of Decker; sister, Erika Hillyard of Vincennes; brothers, Douglas Driskill, Jr. and his wife Christye of Vincennes, Chuck Driskill and Wendy of Decker; father and mother-in-law, Daryl and Laura Ivers; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Morris Barmes; sister-in-laws, Sasha Berry, Sarah Tucker, Brianna Davenport, Daisy Ivers, brother-in-law, J.D. Ivers; best friend, Andy Vories; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jesse was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Louise Sweppy and his paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Adabelle Driskill.
Funeral services for Jesse will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Cheryl Garbe officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
