The City of Vincennes has received a $50,000 grant through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to help repair windows and masonry to the Vincennes Police Department Headquarters at 501 Busseron Street. The building which formerly housed the City’s post office was built in 1907 and expanded in 1936.

The funds come from the National Park Service, a part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, which distributes federal funds to the states through the Historic Preservation Fund Program.
