The Bicknell Freedom Bash will be taking place this weekend.
The Annual Freedom Bash Bike Ride sponsored by the Bicknell Police Department will kick-off the festivites this Saturday at Northside Park.
Officer Kevin Carroll says the bike ride enables police to mingle with kids and let them know the police are their friends.
Carroll says registration will get underway at 8:15 am at Northside Park near Swimland. Last year, Carroll says they had over 200 kids participate.
Carroll added they will also be giving away 20 new bicycles that the Police Department has been able to purchase through donations from individuals and businesses in the community.
Other events scheduled for Saturday include: a festival at Northside Park with activities for kids, music and food. Later in the evening there will be a Fireworks Show.
