Officers with the Vincennes Police Department responded to 617 N 2nd Street Monday concerning a complaint of an armed robbery.
It was reported that two black males had entered an apartment and after brandishing weapons demanded items from the apartment. The two black males then fled the area. The investigation has been turned over to the Vincennes Police Department Detective Division and the investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone having information concerning the robbery is encouraged to contact the Vincennes Police Department at 812-882-1630 where they can be referred to a detective.
Other Arrests Monday:
41-year-old Manuel Hernandez was taken into custody by Vincennes Police Monday. Hernandez was arrested outside the Autumn Lane Apartment complex on a charge of public intoxication and booked into the Knox County Jail.
