A 7 year old Bicknell boy was hospitalized after a Sunday afternoon ATV crash.
Conservation officers report that 7 year old Elijah Green was operating a small dirt bike and was unable to stop before hitting a fence and a light pole about 12:30pm Sunday. It happened along an alley near Alexander Street in Bicknell. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes for treatment and later transferred to St. Mary’s in Evansville for a leg injury
Authorities say the ATV was the appropriate size for the child who was wearing protective gear which likely prevented more serious injuries.
