Bids expected to be looked concerning demolition of property on 11th Street.
The Vincennes Board of Works is scheduled to meet in special session at Noon today (Monday). The Board is expected to award a contract for the demolition of a home at 710 North 11th Street. The house is one of several targeted to be torn down under the city’s blight elimination program. The board received bids from two companies to do the work at their meeting back on May 23rd. City Inspector Phil Cooper indicated that once the bid is awarded they hope to have the home torn down in the next 30 days.
