Sandra Joan Dillon, 57, passed away on May 30, 2016 in Lawrenceville, IL. Sandra was born on November 28, 1957 in Vincennes the daughter of Junior and Wilma (Evans) Underhill. She married Howard Dillon on June 7, 2009.
Sandra had worked for Sodexo as a cook. She enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing, and she loved to cook for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Dillon of Vincennes; daughter, Melissa Balthus of Vincennes; son, John W. Balthus of Vincennes; step-daughters, Susan Combs of Vincennes, Heather Dillon of Bicknell; sisters, Cathy Higgins of Vincennes, Debbie Chesser of Vincennes; brothers, Elmer Underhill of Evansville, Jimmy Joe Underhill of Muncie and ten grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Florence Alice Underhill; and brothers, Edward and Stephen Underhill.
Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Sandra’s family on Thursday from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
