Glenn R. “Bob” Mills, 96, of Vincennes, passed away at 3:10 pm Saturday May 28, 2016 at BridgePointe Health Center.

 

 

 

He was born December 2, 1919 in West Newton, Indiana to Maurice and Edna (George) Mills.

Bob owned and operated Mills Drug Store (“Mills for Pills”) on Main Street from 1954 until his retirement in 1988.  Bob was an active member of Civitan during his working years where he won Man of the Year and served his country in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his son, Robin Mills of Satellite Beach, Fl; his daughter, Cheryl O’Dell  of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Lindsay Copeland, Aaron Mills, David O’Dell, and Melinda O’Dell, and six great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Norma (Diarmit) Mills, whom he married in August of 1961 and preceded him on March 21, 2010; and a sister, Betty Pruitt.

Funeral Services for Bob will be at noon on Saturday June 4, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating.
