From visitors to participants, several areas of the US are represented at the annual event.
The grounds at the French Commons in Vincennes open at 9-am tomorrow for the 40th annual Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous. The grounds are full of enthusiasts and re-enactors depicting life in colonial America.

With the 40th anniversary there are some new features to the event. The grounds will be open until 9-pm Saturday night and there’ll be the first ever night time battle on the field. There will also be horses on the battle field for the first time.
Single-day admission costs $10 at the gate for adults, $2 for children.
Admission buttons good for both days cost $12. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
