Mrs. Sargent has served on the Board of Governors for 16 years.

Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors member Maridell Sargent is stepping down from the committee after 16 years of service. Sargent has attended meetings along side her husband Rowe Sargent, who is the Board of Governor’s President and a Knox County Commissioner. The duo has helped fellow members discuss and decide what is best for GSH for many years.

Good Samaritan President and CEO, Rob McLin, says Maridell will be missed.

The Sargent’s daughter, Susan Brocksmith, will be taking over her position beginning in June. Brocksmith serves on the boards for the Knox County Chamber of Commerce and Farm Bureau. Sargent says her best advice to daughter Susan is listen to what is going on and just enjoy the satisfying job.
