Lewis “Louie” David Snider, 67, of Vincennes, passed away May 18.
Lewis “Louie” David Snider, 67, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his residence. Louie was born January 30, 1949, in Sullivan, IN, the son of John and Lydia (Cox) Snider. He worked as a cabinet maker at Reeds Cabinet Shop for over 20 years. He was a people person and could start a conversation with just about anyone.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sherry (McCoy) Snider; great grand daughter; Aleigha McGhee; three brothers, John Snider Jr., Grover Snider and Jackie Snider.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Shappell of Vincennes; son, Travis ( Britany) Snider of Vincennes; sisters, Maybelle Meadows of Sullivan; Rosemary Stone of Linton; Betty (Larry) Hunter of Elletsville; two brothers, J.D. (Linda) Snider of Sullivan and Fred Snider of Linton; grandchildren, Mercedes, Levi, Bradley, Johnathon, Jedidiah, Julius, Gage, Kathlyne and Maddlyne; along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (EST) at Fredrick and Son Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM also at the funeral home following visitation.
