Recent workshop meant to show businesses how to utilize social media.

The Knox County Chamber of Commerce is off to a busy summer with events planned to help the community grow their business. The Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a workshop for businesses to learn how to better market themselves online and through social media. It allows different professions the ability to grow across varying digital platforms.

Knox County Chamber of Commerce President Marc McNeece says it is important for the chamber to give businesses these opportunities.

The workshop was held at the ICAT building on the campus of Vincennes University. McNeece says it was such a success that they will be hosting another educational demonstration in the fall.

The chamber has also set a date for their upcoming lunch bandwagon. The bandwagon will be hosted by Good Samaritan Hospital and take place at the Green Activities Center on May 25th.
