Five jailed after a package was delivered in Bicknell

Two Vincennes and three Washington residents facing charges.

 

 

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department have arrested five people as part of a large drug investigation. The arrests were made lateThursday afternoon at a residence in Bicknell. Knox County Sheriff Mike Morris says a search warrant was obtained and executed after packages containing marijuana were delivered to a residence in Bicknell.

Arrested at the scene were 33-year-old Derrick Scott Crews, 33-Ryan Purdue and 32-year-old Erin Michelle Keller all of Washington and 35-year-old Josua Shane Benjamin and 34-year-old Vanessa Benjamin of Vincennes. All five are being held in the Knox County Jail charged with dealing marijuana, conspiracy and visiting a common nusiance. Morris says additional arrests maybe coming as part of a much larger investigation.
