Opal I. Goff, age 72 formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday.
Opal I. Goff, age 72 currently of Aperion Care-Bridgeport and formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 23, 2016. She was born in Lawrenceville on August 30, 1943 to Albert and Inez (Howell) Goff.
Opal worked as a cook for over 44 years. She worked most of those years in the kitchens of local hospitals and nursing homes.
She is survived by two nieces and two nephews and their families.
Opal was preceded in death by: her parents- Albert and Inez Goff: two sisters and their husbands- Mary and George Lewis and Clara and Clarence Conrad: one brother- Paul Edward Goff: and one nephew- David Conrad.
A graveside service for Opal I. Goff will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. A visitation will be held at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
