HILLARY FOR INDIANA

 

Hillary for Indiana is hosting Get Out the Vote events, canvass launches, and phone banks across the state this weekend. With early voting underway, grassroots volunteers will engage in conversations with Hoosiers about Clinton’s campaign for President.. Both U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly and Congressman André Carson will launch Get Out The Vote events and share what is at stake in this election. The events are being held in Indianapolis, Muncie, Fort Wayne, Lafayette and Evansville.   A reminder that early voting, or in-person absentee voting continues everyday through Monday, May 2, the day before the May 3 primary.

CRUZ CAMPAIGN IN PLAINFIELD

 

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has scheduled his second visit to central Indiana in three days.

The Cruz campaign announced Friday that the Texas senator will meet voters at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Oasis Diner in Plainfield, about 15 miles west of Indianapolis, then hold a 6 p.m. rally at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, about 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

Cruz made an appearance Thursday afternoon at an Indianapolis delicatessen and spoke at an Indiana Republican Party fundraising dinner that evening.

GOP candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich is scheduled to hold a town hall meeting at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville on Tuesday. GOP front-runner Donald Trump held a rally at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
