Scholarships being made available for VU’s first learning tech community for women

In an effort to recruit and graduate more women, VU’s College of Technology will soon open its first living/learning technology community exclusively for women.

46 women will have the opportunity to reside and pursue degrees in high-skill, high demand fields including: advanced manufacturing automation, industrial maintenance, construction, product design and production processes.

In addition to offering the lowest tuition rate among all residential Indiana institutions, VU will offer this group of women 20-thousand dollars each in room & board scholarships.

The scholarships are being offered on a first-come, first served basis. More information is available by calling Diana Hatton at 812-888-5101 or email her at dhatton@vinu-dot-edu.

Manufacturers may further contribute by sponsoring students with tuition assistance and offering students applied experience internships.
